The Dayco Heater Tap is a 2 port valve designed to regulate the flow of coolant to the heater core. It is essential for controlling the heating inside your vehicle.

Outside Diameter: 16mm

The Heater Control Valve is responsible for blocking coolant flow to the heater core when heating is not required, and allowing flow when heating is needed. It can be activated by vacuum control in late model vehicles and cable in earlier models.

Common failures of the Heater Control Valve include leakage, blocking, and cracking when removing heater hoses, especially in late model valves made of polymer.
