Dayco Fan Clutches are made from die-cast aluminium and feature a machined body for a precise fit and optimal performance. The deep fins increase the surface area for better heat dissipation, while the exclusive drive spines are knurled and burnished. The shaft surface is designed to resist slippage caused by heavy torque loads, ensuring a longer bearing life. The top-quality bearings guarantee a longer lifespan and a quiet, smooth running. The fan clutch also includes a special silicone fluid that inhibits heat build-up, extending its service life. Additionally, a bi-metal thermostatic spring adjusts the fan speed according to the operating temperature requirements, resulting in reduced fuel consumption.
