Penrite Rubber Grease is a premium quality, NLGI No. 2, general purpose, non-harmful clay-based grease containing castor oil, formulated for use wherever contact with natural and/or synthetic rubber is likely to occur.
- NLGI Grade: No. 2 general purpose grease
- Main Ingredient: Castor oil base for excellent rubber compatibility
- Chemical Base: Non-harmful clay-based formulation
- Compatible with both natural and synthetic rubbers
- Excellent lubricity for smooth operation
- Resists hydrocarbon solvents such as petrol — suitable for automotive shock absorbers
- Protects against rust and corrosion
- Long storage life without degradation
- Recommended operating range: -9° to 80°C
- Suitable for automotive, industrial and consumer applications including hydraulic dust covers, braking system components, seals, washers, gaiters, boots, and as a tyre mounting aid
- Can be used in assembly of platen rollers in the printing industry
- NOTE: NOT recommended for the lubrication and protection of brake backing plates and plunger housings
