Permatex's High Performance Thread Sealant is expertly formulated for metal, tapered pipe thread fittings. This sealant replaces Teflon® tape and pipe dopes, curing rapidly to withstand pressures up to 10,000 PSI. It prevents galling and protects threaded areas from rust and corrosion while containing PTFE for enhanced performance.
