Penrite Penblue AdBlue® Diesel Exhaust Fluid — 3.5 Litres

Penblue AdBlue® is a fully licensed and registered aqueous urea solution (DEF — Diesel Exhaust Fluid), 32.5% urea by weight (AUS 32), mixed with demineralised water for use in selected Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems. It is a clear, non-toxic solution that is safe to handle.

• Reduction agent for oxides of nitrogen (NOx), required by SCR technology in diesel vehicles
• SCR systems require a continuous supply of 32.5% aqueous urea solution to operate correctly
• Developed to fulfil the requirements of emissions standards Euro 4 and Euro 5
• In an SCR system, the solution is injected into hot exhaust gas prior to the catalyst or DPF — releasing ammonia that breaks noxious gases down into nitrogen, oxygen and water, reducing noxious emissions to near zero
• Added to a specially designed separate storage tank on SCR-equipped vehicles; dosed automatically at approximately 3–5% of diesel consumption
• SCR systems are sensitive to chemical impurities — high AdBlue® quality to ISO 22241 standard is essential

• Shelf life: 18 months from date of manufacture when stored in original packaging at temperatures not exceeding 30°C
