JLM Diesel Air Intake & EGR Cleaner - 500ml
JLM Diesel Air Intake & EGR Cleaner is a powerful solution that effectively removes stubborn dirt, including rust deposits, from the air intake and exhaust gas recirculation system. It is specially designed for diesel engines that experience fouling due to soot accumulation and depositing caused by low revs, ecodriving, or short journeys.
This cleaner is formulated to clean the valve on the exhaust gas recirculation system, the complete intake system, and the intake valves in the cylinder head. By restoring the air supply to the engine, it improves engine power, acceleration, and reduces smoke from the exhaust. If your engine idles irregularly or cuts out spontaneously, JLM Diesel Air Intake & EGR Cleaner is the solution you need.
How to Use:
- Warm up the engine.
- Remove the flexible hose in the air intake system:
- a. Situated between the turbocharger/intercooler and the air intake manifold (cleaning of air intake manifold and inlet valves)
- b. Before the turbocharger (cleaning of air intake system before the turbocharger)
- c. Before the EGR valve (cleaning EGR valve), depending on which part you want to clean.
- IMPORTANT: Do not spray directly through the intercooler. When applying JLM EGR Cleaner, the engine rpm can increase or decrease, and diesel knocking may occur. This is due to the addition of liquid and the change in the air/fuel ratio.
- Start the engine and let it run at idle.
- Spray the product in short intervals of 1 to 2 seconds into the air intake manifold. After each spray, wait for the engine rpm to stabilize before spraying again.
- If the engine rpm decreases during application, accelerate a little to avoid stalling (up to approximately 2000rpm).
- If the engine rpm increases or diesel knocking occurs during application, leave the engine at idle. Do not accelerate!
- On some vehicles, application is easier with the use of the additional extension tube.
