Product Description

P26 DPF Cleaner Aerosol is an easy-to-use, professional strength, workshop grade Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) cleaner which effectively cleans and loosens carbon and ash deposits in a DPF. Its foaming formulation deeply penetrates into the pores of the honeycomb structure of a DPF.

  • Cleans DPFs without the need for total dismantling
  • Extends the life of DPFs
  • Restores engine performance and the capacity of the DPF
  • Metal free and does not leave any residue after evaporation
  • Resolves DPF clogging and the associated symptoms like increased fuel consumption and power loss

APPLICATION
P26 DPF Cleaner Aerosol is designed for use in all diesel engine vehicles fitted with a DPF in passenger cars, 4WDs, light and heavy duty commercial vehicles.

P26 DPF Cleaner Aerosol is used to easily regenerate clogged or heavily soot contaminated DPFs and can be used as a solution or preventative measure.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Let the engine and DPF cool down before using P26 DPF Cleaner Aerosol, the ideal temperature is between 10oC – 40oC
Remove the pressure sensor from the particulate filter or disconnect the particulate filter at the engine side
Shake can thoroughly
Insert the tube of the aerosol in the opening with the spraying direction towards the filter. Spray the contents 3 to 5 times, with intervals of 5 minutes
Let the product soak for a minimum of 30mins
Reassemble the temperature, pressure sensor or the particulate filter
Start the engine, dirty water (contaminated with soot and ash) will drip out of the exhaust pipe. Let the engine idle until the dripping stops. If necessary, dry the vacuum tube with compressed air
Perform a manual regeneration cycle with a diagnostic tool or start a regeneration by test driving for 20-30 minutes at higher speeds (100km/h) and RPM
If necessary, clear error messages
