Nulon Lifter Free & Tune-Up Engine Treatment
Nulon Lifter Free & Tune-Up dissolves and dislodges harmful varnish and carbon deposits that accumulate within and around hydraulic lifters and cam followers, without causing any damage to oil seals or gaskets.
- Quietens noisy hydraulic lifters and cam followers — including ticking or rattling on start-up
- Suitable for all petrol, diesel, and LPG engines
- Cleans oil galleries in hydraulic lifters to restore proper function
- Removes sludge, wax, varnish, and soft carbon deposits — the major causes of lifter noise
- Frees up sticky lifters without affecting oil viscosity
- Safe to use with all types of engine oils
- Can also be used as a diagnostic tool — if lifter noise persists after 14 days or 500 km, mechanical damage is likely and the lifter should be inspected or replaced
- Dosage: add 1 bottle per 5 litres of engine oil capacity after an oil and filter change; leave in until the next scheduled oil change
Note: Nulon Lifter Free & Tune-Up addresses lifter noise caused by carbon blockages and sludge/varnish deposits. It will not correct noise resulting from mechanical damage, broken relief valve springs, or incorrect oil viscosity.
