HardKorr Heavy Duty Soft Shackle - 14,000kg Minimum Breaking Strength Rated - HKRSSHKHD

Experience the strength and convenience of HardKorr's Heavy Duty Soft Shackle. This innovative product is designed to replace traditional bow/D shackles, providing a safe and robust tie-down point from your 4x4's rated recovery point. The use of these heavy-duty soft shackles significantly minimises the risk of serious injury or damage during recovery operations.

Built with Durakorr(TM) synthetic material, HardKorr shackles are stronger than conventional ones. They are lightweight, safe and exhibit higher abrasion resistance than some steels. With a Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) rating of 14,000kg, these shackles also feature a nylon protective sheath designed to reduce wear at the rope's main grip points.

  • Minimum Breaking Strength: 14,000kg
  • Rope Length: 550mm
  • Rope Diameter: 12mm
  • Material: Durakorr(TM) synthetic

To utilise this shackle effectively, simply thread the untied shackle through your recovery rope's eyelet. Then pass the loop end through or around your rated recovery point before threading the knot through the soft shackle loop.

The MBS figure is determined in large-scale lab tests by measuring when the weakest sample begins to tear or break. It is recommended that any recovery rope used should have an MBS at least two to three times greater than your vehicle's gross weight for optimal safety during recoveries.

Packaging: Manufacturers periodically update their packaging and labelling. You may receive the current or a previous design — the product, formulation and part number are unchanged.

Fitment (vehicle-specific products): For products listed to suit a specific vehicle, our fitment data is kept as accurate as possible, but vehicle catalogues are not perfect. Some models had more than one part fitted depending on build date, engine, or component size/variant. It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm the part suits their vehicle before purchasing. If you have any doubt, please message us with your vehicle's registration number and state (preferred), or full VIN/build details, and we'll do our best to confirm before you buy.
