Made from heavy-duty, high-grade aluminium, the HardKorr Towbar Recovery Hitch Kit is a must-have for any vehicle with a 50x50mm hitch receiver. This kit includes one of HardKorr's robust soft shackles and is compatible with most recovery ropes and straps. It provides an easy-to-use anchor point that's especially useful on the tow vehicle during recovery.
- Designed to prolong the life of your recovery gear with smooth, rounded edges perfect for ropes and straps.
- Weight load limit (WLL) of 5,000kg suitable for recoveries involving up to two anchor points off the hitch.
- Included heavy-duty soft shackle has a Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) of 14,000kg.
- Easily attaches when tow hitch isn't in use; simply slide into a standard 50x50mm (AS4177) receiver and lock into place using the hitch pin.
The included soft shackle is measured using an MBS figure determined in large-scale lab tests. It's recommended that any recovery rope used should have an MBS at least 2-3 times the gross weight of the vehicle being recovered. Always check your tow system's rating before use to ensure it can handle your recovery needs.
