EVC Throttle Controller - EVC201L

Rather than a traditional accelerator cable, many modern vehicles use 'fly by wire' throttle technology. This system relies on a sensor that measures the pedal pressure and position and sends a signal to the vehicle's engine computer which converts to acceleration. Many of these fly by wire systems have a noticeable delay. EVC allows tuning of the signal from the accelerator pedal with multiple inbuilt settings to ensure finding a setting that suits any driving style.

- Ultimate Performance Mode:
Nine stages grouped into three categories:
- Everyday driving with smooth acceleration (Ultimate mode 1-3)
- Sportier acceleration for short bursts around town (Ultimate mode 4-6)
- Instant throttle response for maximum performance (Ultimate mode 7-9)
• The EVC works equally well on both automatic and manual transmissions with internal voltage pattern adjustments to suit each transmission type.

• Towing: Eco mode helps delay throttle response for better control when reversing trailers; higher ultimate modes assist in moving extra weight uphill or from standing starts.
• Mud: Higher ultimate performance setting aids quick bursts of acceleration to escape muddy holes and improve tyre grip.
• The intuitive display and easy-to-use menu make changing through EVC modes simple at any time.
