Penrite Classic Light Mineral Engine Oil — SAE 20W-60, 5 Litres

Classic Light is a premium mineral, SAE 20W-60, high zinc, low detergent engine oil designed specifically for petrol and diesel fuelled vehicles manufactured between 1950 and 1989. It features a double layer of engine wear protection with high zinc and increased operating temperature viscosity over older style multigrade oils, or where SAE 30 monograde oil was specified by the manufacturer. It controls oil consumption and maintains oil pressure in older engines.

• Suitable for passenger cars, motorcycles, 4WDs, light and heavy duty commercial vehicles (trucks, buses and heavy equipment), tractors and industrial machines that originally specified a multigrade 20W-40, 20W-50 or monograde SAE 30 engine oil and were fitted with an engine oil filter
• Multi-grade formulation with a special additive pack suited to vehicles of the era — compatible with grades originally specified, and exceeds the specification requirements of those original oils
• Ideal for vehicles operating in cooler ambient temperatures; suitable as an engine/transmission oil in vehicles manufactured by Austin, Morris, BMC and Leyland
• Suitable for use in motorcycles that require this viscosity and grade, including those fitted with a wet clutch
• API SG/CD grade oil with high zinc levels for added anti-wear protection in older engines
• Standard multigrade cold temperature SAE viscosity grade with an increased operating temperature range — provides an added layer of protection under increased load and temperature conditions
• Contains a "Tacky Additive" so that when the vehicle is laid up, oil does not run off internal surfaces — combined with an increased level of rust inhibitor, this protects against corrosion and deterioration during storage
• Formulated to give much improved low temperature pumpability
• Minimises sludge build-up, bearing corrosion and piston ring sticking
• Extends bearing and gear life by minimising wear and shock loads
• Performance Levels: API SG/CD; suitable where API SF is required
