Penrite Cam Assembly Lube — 100g
Penrite Cam Assembly Lube is a special purpose sticky paste formulated with a grease base, designed for the initial lubrication of engine parts during the engine assembly process. It contains rust inhibitors, oxidation inhibitors, tackiness additives, zinc and graphite anti-wear agents to provide outstanding engine lubrication protection prior to and during first starting of new or rebuilt engines.
- Withstands loadings of greater than 200,000 psi — provides an excellent film of protection under extreme pressure and shock loadings
- Added zinc and graphite anti-wear agents for increased protection
- Tacky additive ensures the product sticks to surfaces during assembly and will not run off like standard engine oil
- Provides highest protection possible in the vital first seconds after starting
- Will not harm white metal bearings
- Provides initial hydrodynamic lubrication and puts a lubricant barrier between moving parts
- Suitable for camshaft lobes, followers, journals, camshaft and crankshaft bearings, pushrod tips, rockers, bushes, gears, thrust bearings and timing chains
- Only a light film is required — use sparingly; product dissipates into the engine lubricant after first start
- Can also be used in veteran engines with exposed valves and valve springs as protection against rust and corrosion during storage
- Colour: Grey/Black | Appearance: Tacky Paste
- Made in Australia
Note: Do not use on pistons — the graphite content may hamper the bedding-in process. Penrite recommends the use of Running In Oil with new and rebuilt engines.

Fitment (vehicle-specific products): For products listed to suit a specific vehicle, our fitment data is kept as accurate as possible, but vehicle catalogues are not perfect. Some models had more than one part fitted depending on build date, engine, or component size/variant. It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm the part suits their vehicle before purchasing. If you have any doubt, please message us with your vehicle's registration number and state (preferred), or full VIN/build details, and we'll do our best to confirm before you buy.
