Penrite Silicone DOT 5 Brake Fluid — 500mL
Penrite Silicone DOT 5 Brake Fluid is a fully synthetic, silicone-based brake fluid designed for use in brake and clutch systems requiring a DOT 5 silicone fluid specification.
- Fully synthetic silicone formulation — meets US FMVSS 116 DOT 5 specification
- Recommended for re-fill or top-up of brake and clutch systems specifying DOT 5 silicone fluid; suitable for first fill or refilling systems already containing DOT 5 fluid
- Suitable for racing cars and motorcycles in competition applications — resists vapour formation that can cause loss of braking performance
- Extremely high dry boiling point >300°C (572°F) for fade-free braking and good pedal feel
- High wet boiling point >220°C (428°F) — maintains stopping power over the life of the fluid
- Non-hygroscopic — does not absorb water, maintaining fluid stability throughout its service life
- Non-toxic, non-corrosive and will not damage automotive painted surfaces, hoses, seals or other materials
- Compatible with most modern brake system components including seals, calipers and brake hoses

- WARNING: Do NOT mix with DOT 3, DOT 4, Super DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 brake fluids
- WARNING: Do NOT use where low-viscosity fluids such as Super DOT 4 ESP-type fluids are required
- WARNING: Some ABS systems are NOT compatible with DOT 5 fluids — always confirm the correct fluid type as recommended by the system manufacturer
- For vehicles requiring mineral-based fluid, use Penrite LHM Plus instead
