Ensuring the smooth operation of your vehicle's engine, the PAT Air Mass Meter, also known as the Mass Air Flow Sensor, is a vital component of your engine management system. Positioned between the air filter and throttle body, it measures incoming air and often incorporates the Intake Air Temperature Sensor (ATS). The data collected by this sensor assists your engine's ECU in determining the correct fuel mix, ignition timing, and in some cases, transmission shifting.

Warning codes on your dash can also indicate a problem (look out for codes starting with P0068, P0100, P0101, P0102, P0103, P0104). Basic issues such as intake leaks or faulty wiring can also affect the Mass Air Flow Sensor.
