Penrite Classic Car Coolant is a Type "B", colourless, hybrid-organic, non-glycol based corrosion inhibitor concentrate designed specifically for veteran, Edwardian, vintage and classic car cooling systems.
- Type "B" formula — meets AS 2108-2004 Type B
- Hybrid-organic, non-glycol based corrosion inhibitor concentrate
- Protects against corrosion, cavitation, scaling and oxidisation
- Suitable for cooling systems of automotive, heavy duty, stationary, industrial and marine engines where anti-freeze and/or anti-boil properties are not required
- Suitable for use in both hard and soft water conditions
- Recommended concentration: 10%–15% in demineralised water; optimum protection at 12% with a 3-year change interval
- 1 litre treats up to 10 litres of water
- Can lower running temperatures by 8–10°C compared to glycol treatments
- Bio-degradable and non-toxic composition
- Will not stain engine castings or radiator surrounds
- Overdosing will not cause corrosion or deposition issues
- Can be added to pure ethylene or propylene glycol (33%–50%) to increase anti-corrosion characteristics
- Made in Australia
Please Note: Do not mix with other Type B coolant inhibitors. This product is not compatible for testing with glycol coolant test strips as false readings can occur. For best results, flush the cooling system with Radiator Flush prior to filling. Penrite recommends mixing with Penrite De-Mineralised Water.

Fitment (vehicle-specific products): For products listed to suit a specific vehicle, our fitment data is kept as accurate as possible, but vehicle catalogues are not perfect. Some models had more than one part fitted depending on build date, engine, or component size/variant. It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm the part suits their vehicle before purchasing. If you have any doubt, please message us with your vehicle's registration number and state (preferred), or full VIN/build details, and we'll do our best to confirm before you buy.
