Transgold Front Sway Bar Bush Kit — Jeep Grand Cherokee WH 2005–2010

The Transgold SK168 is a front sway bar bush kit for the Jeep Grand Cherokee WH (2005–2010). A bush provides a cushioning interface between the suspension and steering components — flexible enough to allow movement, yet robust enough to stabilise, absorb vibration and minimise wear. When bushes perish you get clunks, rattles and vague steering, and because they fail slowly, most people do not realise how bad it has become until the new ones go in.

Important fitment notes for this application:

  • 2005 Grand Cherokee: You must select the correct bushings depending on whether your Jeep has the 30mm or 33mm sway bar.
  • 2005–2006 Grand Cherokee with 33mm sway bar: The old sway bar bushing mounting brackets must be replaced with OEM bracket part number 52090474AB due to the new bushing design.
  • 2007–2010 Grand Cherokee: Use only the 33mm bushings (OEM reference 52089465AF).
  • Absorbs Noise, Impact and Vibration: which is exactly what a perished bush has stopped doing.
  • Supplied as a Kit: one kit per vehicle, so there is no guesswork about quantities.
  • No Greasing Required.
  • 2,500+ Products, 90% Coverage: across the major vehicle brands and models.
  • ISO:9001 / TS:16949 Certified Suppliers.

Transgold recommend replacing suspension bushes every 80,000 km — sooner if the vehicle sees rough terrain. Have the wheel alignment checked afterwards.

Packaging: Manufacturers periodically update their packaging and labelling. You may receive the current or a previous design — the product, formulation and part number are unchanged.

Fitment (vehicle-specific products): Vehicle fitment is based on manufacturer and supplier catalogue data and is kept as accurate as possible, but vehicle catalogues are not perfect. Some models had more than one part fitted depending on build date, engine, or component size/variant, and parts on older vehicles may have been replaced with non-original or different-style components.

Before you buy, compare the product images with the part currently fitted to your vehicle — check shape, size, connectors and mounting points. If the part on your vehicle looks different, please contact us before purchasing. It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm the part suits their vehicle before purchasing.

Not sure? Message us with your vehicle's registration number and state (preferred), or full VIN/build details, and we'll do our best to confirm fitment before you buy.

Parts returned because they do not suit the vehicle, where the listing matches the manufacturer's catalogue, are treated as a change of mind and must be unused, uninstalled and in original packaging. Nothing in this notice affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
