- Calcium and magnesium in tap water form scale on heat exchanger surfaces — scale is an insulator that causes localised overheating and component failure
- Silicate (sand) in tap water causes premature wear through natural abrasion in the cooling system
- Eliminates chloride contamination from tap water, which is aggressive to aluminium components
- Reduces oxygen content compared to tap water, minimising metal corrosion and preserving corrosion inhibitors for a longer coolant service life
- Prolongs battery life when used as a top-up fluid

For radiators: mix the correct amount of Nulon Coolant Concentrate in Nulon Radiator & Battery Water before adding to the radiator. For batteries: top up to the indicated fill level at each filling point, taking care not to overfill.
