Ryco Oil Filter R2701P
Making sure your oil is fresh and contaminant free is a must for all engine oils. Without this, severe damage can be caused to major components due to excessive friction. An oil filter allows for continuous filtration within engines to purify and remove dirt and other contaminants.
Ryco Oil Filters are designed to meet OEM specifications while providing better flow efficiency, longevity, and protection for your engine. They are manufactured in two different designs:
- 'Spin on' style oil filter: Built to withstand the high oil pressures produced by modern engines. Conventionally seen in most vehicles.
- 'Cartridge' type oil filter: Designed to fit into a reusable housing, which is more commonly seen in newer model vehicles as manufacturers attempt to further reduce waste.
Using high-quality oils and filters is recommended by automotive professionals to assist with the overall health of your engine. However, without consistent and frequent replacement of these consumables, an engine will deteriorate over time.
