Permatex Ultra Red is a high-performance, low-odour RTV silicone gasket maker designed for high-temperature applications including exhaust manifolds, headers, turbochargers, and slip-fit exhaust parts.
- Resists temperatures up to 343°C (650°F) intermittent
- Sensor-safe, non-corrosive RTV silicone formula
- Replaces almost any cut gasket
- High resistance to thermal cycling
- OEM specified
- Low-odour formulation — outperforms previous generation Red RTV
- Apply a 2–6mm bead to one surface surrounding all bolt holes; allow 24 hours to fully cure before filling with fluids or returning to service
- Not recommended for use on head gaskets or parts in contact with petrol
- 368g cartridge — dispensed via standard caulking gun
Suitable for workshop and trade use wherever a durable, high-temperature chemical gasket is required.
