Penrite Penblue AdBlue® Diesel Exhaust Fluid — 10 Litres
Penblue AdBlue® is a fully licensed and registered AdBlue® aqueous urea solution (DEF — Diesel Exhaust Fluid), 32.5% urea in weight (AUS 32), mixed with demineralised water for use in selected Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems. It is a clear, non-toxic solution that is safe to handle.
- Reduction agent for oxides of nitrogen (NOx), required by SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology in diesel vehicles
- SCR systems require a continuous supply of 32.5% urea solution to operate correctly
- Developed to fulfil the requirements of emissions standards Euro 4 and Euro 5
- In an SCR system, the aqueous urea solution is injected into the hot exhaust gas prior to the catalyst or DPF — releasing ammonia that breaks noxious gases down into nitrogen, oxygen and water, reducing emissions to near zero
- Added to a specially designed separate storage tank on SCR-equipped vehicles; dosed automatically at approximately 3–5% of diesel consumption
- ISO 22241 compliant (covers quality requirements, test methods, handling/transport/storage, and refilling interface)
