SuperCharge understands the need for a battery that suits the requirements of Start-Stop vehicles, and is now offering Enhanced Flooded Batteries (EFB) to suit modern vehicle's growing demand. With Start- Stop vehicles, the system will switch off the engine when the car is idle in order to save fuel and to reduce CO2 emissions by 5-10%. With this technology, the battery becomes the source of energy for all electrical devices while the engine is not running and source of power to restart the engine when pulling out from rest. SuperCharge batteries for Start-Stop vehicles are designed to supply sufficient power and energy and are capable of functioning at a lower state of charge.
- Enhanced Flooded Battery technology to withstand the demands of fuel saving engine stop/start technologies. Start/stop equipped vehicles require like-for-like battery replacement. Replace EFB only with EFB.
