KYB Front Strut Mount — KSM7235
The KYB KSM7235 is a front upper strut mount for compatible Subaru applications.
- The upper strut mount is the link between the shock absorber and the body of the car — it carries the weight of the vehicle and, on the front axle, is also the pivot the steering turns on
- KYB recommend replacing the upper strut mount and bearing each time the strut is replaced — a worn mount left in place works against the new strut
- Replacing the mount together with the strut makes steering easier, smoother and more precise
- Reduces vibration and noise
- Improves road handling and wheel alignment
- Increases shock absorber life, so the new strut lasts longer
- Replace each time the shock absorbers are replaced, or when steering has become hard or noisy
