Goss Idle Speed Control

An idle air control actuator or idle air control valve, otherwise known as an IAC, is designed to control engine idle speed in fuel-injected vehicles. In carburetted vehicles, a similar device known as an idle speed control actuator is used.

  • Essential part of the engine management system
  • Controlled by an input signal from the ECM
  • Allows a measured amount of air to bypass the throttle plate when closed
  • Enables accurate control of the idle speed
  • Adjusts to specific vehicle requirements such as start-up, cold start, engine warm-up, additional electrical loads, deceleration, air conditioning, and automatic transmission use
  • Signs of a faulty IAC include inability to maintain proper idle, vehicle stalling, or no engine idle
  • Goss IAC's are sourced from leading OEM suppliers
  • Backed by a 12-month warranty
  • Offers a genuine alternative in the aftermarket
  • 12 Months/40,000km warranty
  • For correct fitment, ensure the vehicle is listed in the compatibility list and read any associated notes
  • If no vehicle details are listed, please send a message

Packaging: Manufacturers periodically update their packaging and labelling. You may receive the current or a previous design — the product, formulation and part number are unchanged.

Fitment (vehicle-specific products): Vehicle fitment is based on manufacturer and supplier catalogue data and is kept as accurate as possible, but vehicle catalogues are not perfect. Some models had more than one part fitted depending on build date, engine, or component size/variant, and parts on older vehicles may have been replaced with non-original or different-style components.

Before you buy, compare the product images with the part currently fitted to your vehicle — check shape, size, connectors and mounting points. If the part on your vehicle looks different, please contact us before purchasing. It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm the part suits their vehicle before purchasing.

Not sure? Message us with your vehicle's registration number and state (preferred), or full VIN/build details, and we'll do our best to confirm fitment before you buy.

Parts returned because they do not suit the vehicle, where the listing matches the manufacturer's catalogue, are treated as a change of mind and must be unused, uninstalled and in original packaging. Nothing in this notice affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
