Gates Engine Water Pump — GWP2079
The Gates GWP2079 is an application-specific, OE-quality replacement water pump for the engine cooling system, designed for compatible vehicles. Each pump is built new, never re-manufactured.
The pump is fitted with a precisely balanced impeller to ensure OE fit and function. Every pump undergoes a functional test of its seals and bearings, plus a 100% leakage test of both the casting and the assembled unit before it leaves the factory.

Fitting
- If the water pump is driven by the timing belt, replace the belt, tensioner and idlers at the same time. A failed pump bearing or seal can take a new belt with it.
- Refill with the coolant type the vehicle manufacturer specifies and bleed all air from the system, then check for leaks once the engine is up to temperature.
