Exelbelt Engine Multi Rib Belt — EX5PK0875 (5PK0875)

The Exelbelt EX5PK0875 is a 5-rib serpentine belt, 875mm in effective length, designed to drive the accessories on the front of a modern engine. It works alongside the idler, the tensioner and the pulleys inside the accessory drive belt structure, providing power for the alternator, power steering and air conditioning. On some engines it also drives the cooling system water pump.

Replacement may be needed earlier than the maximum lifespan — the belt lives in heat and friction every day. Symptoms of a failing serpentine belt include a squealing sound from the front of the vehicle, power steering and air conditioning not working, visible wear and cracks on the belt, and (on engines where the belt drives the water pump) overheating.

Reading the part number: In 5PK0875, the 5 is the number of ribs, PK is the poly-rib K section (K indicates automotive), and 0875 is the effective length of the belt in millimetres. Count the ribs on your old belt and match the length to ensure you order the correct replacement.

Tip: Replace the tensioner and idlers at the same time as the belt — they have covered the same kilometres, and a worn tensioner will destroy a new belt.
