Product Description
This time saving Volkswagen / Audi / BMW removal and installation tool is used to unlock the fuel pump from the module assembly housing to allow for quick pump removal without damage to the housing plastic retainers.
On many modern vehicles, the fuel pump is actually part of a pump module which is located in the fuel tank; together with add on units such as the pressure regulator and fluid level sensor. In some cases it is not necessary to replace the complete assembly /module only the pump itself may need to be replaced. With this tool replacement is no problem.
Refitting the pump without damage is also made easy with the use of this tool.
This OE quality product is made by Pierburg (Germany) specifically for this purpose.
Instructions
A simple – Fit -Twist to lock – Pull to remove action – can save valuable time and prevent costly damage to the assembly housing.
Dismantling is simple – Position the tool, turn it and then withdraw the pump from its fixture.
The tool expands the fixtures securing the fuel pump in the pump module. This functions very well on fuel pumps with an angled delivery pipe / tube
The instruction sheet supplied should ensure a satisfactory completion of the task.
