- The expansion tank is an essential component of the cooling system.
- It is always under pressure and houses the pressure cap.
- Designed to be at the highest point in the cooling system.
- Allows continuous cycling of coolant through the tank.
- Hot coolant pressure is released into the top half of the tank.
- Acts as a force to push the coolant back into the system.
- Tanks can become discoloured, brittle, or contaminated with sludge.
- Immediate replacement is required for effective cooling system operation.
- Dayco Expansion Tanks are made to OE specifications.
- Specifically designed for make/model compatibility.
- Comes with a 2-year/40,000km warranty.
