Goss Ignition Coil

Ignition coils are an integral part of any vehicle's ignition system. The Goss Ignition Coil transforms the low-tension voltage into a high-tension voltage required to produce a spark at the spark plug.

• Extensive range of ignition coils to suit both OEM and aftermarket options
• Sourced from leading OES and AM suppliers
• Generates a high voltage electrical pulse of approximately 45,000 volts to the spark plugs
• Made up of two sets of wire windings, one inside the other
• Battery current flows from the battery to the outer winding, creating a magnetic field when ignition switch is turned on
• The field collapses when current is turned off, producing an extremely high voltage in the inner winding
• This high voltage creates the ignition spark at the spark plug
