Designed to maintain constant tension on serpentine belt drives, the Dayco® No Slack™ Automatic Belt Tensioner is an essential component for your vehicle's engine accessories. With its patented "flat spring" design, this tensioner provides consistent tension and reduces the risk of premature accessory bearing failure.
Features:
- Engineered with a patented "flat spring" design for less tension variations
- Teflon® strip wound within the spring resists abrasion
- Coated flat spring resists rust
- Steel locator pin (where applicable) for added strength
- Heavy-duty cast aluminium spring case resists cracking and fatigue
- Heavy-duty cast aluminium arm offers additional strength and less distortion
- Aluminium retainer ring locks the spring case and arm together, sealing against corrosion
- Steel pivot tube (where applicable) provides additional strength
- Thermoplastic rubber spring slot plug keeps out contaminants
- Lubricated nylon pivot tube bushing and spring bushing for quieter performance
- Rubber O ring seals against dust and grime
- Zinc coated mounting bolt resists rust and provides even tension
- Comes with a glass-filled polymer (plastic) or steel pulley with dust cover
With a 2-year/40,000km warranty, the Dayco Automatic Belt Tensioner is built to meet OEM performance standards and ensure the proper functioning of your vehicle's serpentine belt drive system.
