Australian designed for 4WD touring and tested for our unique conditions, the KYB Skorched4’s range was specifically engineered as a lifted height heavy-duty option from Original Equipment. With a large 35mm bore, the Skorched4's shock absorber provides superior handling and control when off road, and incorporates an increased oil capacity to minimise overheating and fade-out while in operation. All Skorched4’s Shock Absorbers are matched to industry leading coil and leaf springs, to provide extra wheel travel of up to 30-50mm for lifted vehicles (in line with the industry national code of practice). Skorched 4s option with 30-50mm lifted ride height only.

• Twin Tube design consisting of hardened chromed 16mm diameter piston rod, results in superior strength under extreme conditions
• 4 Step multi-lip seals help eliminate contamination, thereby maintaining oil and gas integrity
• Micro-smooth, hard chromed sintered iron pistons and guide rods that reduces friction and heat build-up
• Speed Sensitive Valving: Multi stage compression and rebound valve offers instant response and fast recovery to varying conditions. This increases vehicle control and decreases nose diving under braking
