Dayco Elastic Stretch Belt — 4PK828EE
The Dayco 4PK828EE is an Elastic ("Stretch") Poly-V belt — 4 ribs, 828mm long — designed for drives that do not require a tensioner.
- Important: this is a stretch belt. Vehicles manufactured with stretch belts must be replaced with stretch belts. These belts are NOT interchangeable with standard belts of the same size.
- Designed for 2 to 4 point drives that do not require tensioning — the belt has the self-tensioning capability required by specific OE drives designed for a stretch belt.
- Proprietary EPDM construction, designed to elongate over the fixed pulley system and then maintain the required belt tension over the life of the belt.
- Specially developed polyamide tensile member.
- Wear resistant EPDM rib material.
- Highly elastic EPDM cushion rubber.
Installation: Stretch belts have unique installation instructions depending on the OE application. Installation may require a specialised tool for the application, or a simple zip tie. Dayco provides detailed instructions on the reverse side of the sleeve. Do not attempt to install the belt by prying it onto the pulleys.
Reading the part number: the number before PK is the rib count and the number after it is the belt length in millimetres — 4PK828EE is a 4-rib elastic belt, 828mm long.
